Future Generali India Insurance (FGII) Company Limited is a private general insurance company in India. Future Generali India Insurance (FGII) was established in 2006 with the aim of providing retail, commercial, personal, and rural insurance services to both individuals and corporations to help them manage and mitigate risks. They have around 3000+ corporate clients and 121 branches across India with around 5000 employees working in it.
FGII has a distributed workforce, including on-field engineers and sales representatives. During COVID-19, many worked from home, making attendance tracking difficult. Using SAP’s complex interface, FGII aimed to create an easy-to-use platform to simplify attendance logging and approvals.
Athen decided to design a wholistic approach and built an integrated system to solve the issue. Our expert team at Athen, provided them with technical consultation and designed a solution which would ease the complexity. We invested our expertise on .NET, Flutter and Microsoft Teams apps. The attendance management is simplified over and made available in Microsoft Teams when they are at work and mobile app when they are on the move. The system integrates with SAP to ensure the attendance details are updated back for payroll processing. This allowed employees to mark attendance wherever they are reduced the complexity in payroll processing.
Future Generali Life Insurance Company’s employees to mark their daily attendance. Employees can mark their attendance with a single tap by taking a selfie picture. The app has 2 sets of authentication, one set being on the mobile number/DOB/company email id and second set by way of OTP. Attendance is marked on basis of face recognition. The app is an important step to enhance Future Generali’s employee experience and also a step towards transformation in the HR processes by going digital.
